Domain Name Information

When you sign up for your new web site, there is no charge for transferring an existing domain name to our servers. The prices for registering new domain names fluctuate rather frequently due to the large number of new domain name registrars on the Internet. We no longer try to keep all the current prices posted. We check pricing and availability each time a customer makes a request for a new domain name.

We will check on the availability of the name you desire as soon as we have received your request, and you have sent us the domain name you wish to have registered... We charge a one time fee of $5.00 to register your name for you PLUS the fee charged by the registrar (currently as low as $7.95 per year with some registrars). Alternatively, you may register the name yourself at the registrar of your choice, and still host your web site with us...

If you wish for us to handle the registration for you, please email support@sohohosting.net with the name(s) you wish us to register. Include the extension (com, net, org, biz, info, us, et al). We will determine if your preferred choice is available, and e-mail you a price quote. If we are unable to secure the name you want, we will ask you for alternate choices before proceeding. After you have made your decision, we will handle the registration process for you, or let you know where we found the best deal so you may conclude it yourself.

If you want to transfer an existing domain name to our servers, please email us that information also. There is no charge to transfer an existing domain name.
